APMP India Diwali Contest 2026

Five Days. Five Gifts. One Bright Idea Shared Every Day.

Learn something new each day this Diwali, and light up the profession by sharing it.

This Diwali, APMP India is sending you a gift every day for five days: a micro-learning, an e-book, a podcast or an article chosen to add something real to your professional practice. Open it, learn from it, and share that learning on LinkedIn.

Every post you write helps more people discover what pursuit management is, and why it deserves to be recognised as a profession in its own right.

Who Can Take Part

  • Anyone who has received the email with the link to the Diwali Gift is welcome to participate.
  • There is no entry fee and no registration form. Your first post enters you into the contest.
  • You do not need to be registered for Samagam 2026 to participate.

How to Participate

Four simple steps, repeated each day.

  1. 1

    Step 1. Open your gift

Read, listen to or watch the gift that arrives in your inbox that morning.
  2. 2

    Step 2. Write your post

Publish a LinkedIn post sharing your learning from that day's gift, in your own words.
  3. 3

Step 3. Include the three essentials

Every post must carry all three of these to be counted:
  4. 4

    Step 4. Submit your link

Submit the URL of each post in the form below by 11:59 pm IST the same day.

Before you hit Post

  • Tag @APMP India in your post.
  • Use the hashtags #APMPIndiaDiwali #Samagam2026 #APMPINDIA #Win #Grow #Lead.
  • Set your post visibility to Public, so it can be seen, verified and reshared.

How You Earn Diyas

Points on this contest are counted as diyas. The more lamps you light, the brighter your place on the board.

  • One post, one diya.

Every qualifying LinkedIn post earns you one diya.

  • Post as often as you like.

There is no limit to the number of posts you can publish on a day. Each qualifying post earns a diya.

  • Reposts earn diyas too.

Reposts are tallied at the end of each contest day and counted once per person. If the same person reshares more than one of your posts, or reshares the same post again, it counts as one diya for that day.

  • The leaderboard updates daily.

It shows your posts, your reposts and your total diyas.

  • Incomplete posts are not counted.

A post missing any of the three essentials will not earn a diya. We will let you know, so you can correct it.

The One Rule That Decides Eligibility

Post on every one of the five days.

A contestant who misses even a single day will not be eligible for a prize, however many diyas they have collected.

Lighting a lamp on all five days is the spirit of the festival, and of this contest.

The Prizes

Two author-signed books, handed over in person at Samagam 2026.

Win author-signed copies of AI Nation: Bharat's Path to AI Power by Dr. Ajay Kumar, and AI Took Your Org Chart by Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, Uma Ganesh and Priyanka Sangani.

Every contestant who posts on all five days

An author-signed copy of one of the two books.

The ten contestants with the highest number of diyas

Author-signed copies of both books.

  • AI Nation: Bharat's Path to AI Power
    Dr. Ajay Kumar
  • AI Took Your Org Chart
    Co-authored by Dr. Ganesh Natarajan

In the event of a tie for the tenth place, the contestant who published their qualifying Day 5 post earlier will be placed higher.

    Why We Are Doing This

Pursuit management is still an emerging and under-recognised function in India. Every time you share what you have learned, you make the work visible to your colleagues, your leadership and your network.

Five days of learning, shared openly, builds a stronger case for our profession than any campaign we could run on our own.

    Win. Grow. Lead.

We look forward to seeing your lamps on the board.

    Terms and Conditions

    1. The contest runs from 6 November 2026 to 10 November 2026. Posts submitted after 11:59 pm IST on their day will not be counted.
    2. Posts must be your own words and your own reflection. Content copied from another person's post, or generated without your own thinking behind it, will not be counted.
    3. Please keep your posts respectful and professional. Posts that name clients, disclose confidential information, or criticise individuals or organisations will not be counted.
    4. Reposts are counted from public LinkedIn reshare data at the end of each contest day, once per person per day.
    5. Reposts from duplicate, inactive or automated accounts will not be counted.
    6. By participating, you agree that APMP India may feature your name, your posts and your leaderboard position on the contest page, on APMP India channels and at Samagam 2026.
    7. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.
    8. APMP India's decision on counting, eligibility and ranking is final. Any question about a count can be raised at director@apmpindia.org within 24 hours of the leaderboard update.
